Since teleprompters are not allowed in debates, the debates will be fun to watch and I expect some movement after the debate. Obama is far better than Romney when it comes to thinking on is feet. And that Romney is going into the convention still trailing Obama, it should be disconcerting to the Republicans. With the way the economy is, Romney should have been at least 8 to 10 points ahead. As much as Romney would like to say that this election is about Obama's performance, he should also know that it is also about his being "an acceptable alternative". So far, he has failed to convince people that he is an acceptable alternative no matter how hard Hannity and his folks at FOX try.
