I agree completely with your points on insider buying in small cap companies. The big fish came for the options, not the salary. Otherwise, people like Ken H. would be considered mentally unstable to leave a 500K a year job for one paying less than 200K. If he and others have large numbers in options, even at prices exercised much higher than the current price, why risk taking chances? If the stock takes off, exercising options in the 9-13 range will seem like chump change. In fact, it would seem sort of irrational to risk your own money on the open market when you can patiently wait for your options to be worth something. That is guaranteed profit. If we do see some small activity on the insider page in the next couple of weeks, I doubt it will be enough to give this stock the boost it needs. It is difficult to argue that anything short of announced contracts (hopefully with a dollar figure attached) will give us the shot in the arm we need.
