"Making the statement that it is "overgenerous" is a value judgment, not a professional one. And frankly, it is more of an international economics issue than a tax issue. You can't tax people on their world wide incomes and not give them credits for taxes paid in other countries." when I worked all over the country I got taxed in the states I worked and got credit for that in the state I lived. although the credit wasn't as much as the tax which is a rip off. So I bet poor Romney got cheated also. He should get some kind of refund
