They just don't get that.

Well, they DO -- but it depends on who is doing the talking.

If you say, "Well, Warren Buffett can just damn well send in some extra money if he thinks he ought to be paying higher taxes" -- then, they come back with "That's stupid. That's no way to run a tax system."

But if Mitt Romney pays all the law requires him to pay, then he is somehow guilty of "tax avoidance" (apparently, this has been made a crime by some on the Left).

It is really pathetic hypocrisy, but after all, it is what they're best at.
