[Dain Bosworth downgrade]

<<<To generate some sell orders from institutional clients? No commissions will result if big holders wait for the merger to close. Additionally, there no longer appears to be much upside for our financially-strapped heroes, so why not get on with life ?>>>

I hadn't thought of the commission angle, but sounds logical. Having another year to pay taxes is worth the wait. So, too, is holding in the off chance there'll be another offer. When I read TI's projections for ADSL, alone, I can't believe the other chip players don't see it as well.

As for getting on with life, yes, if there were an investment that I had some reason to believe was set to fly, I'd use margin or sell enough to take a position. I'll hold the majority, though, for the reasons I stated. And, so far I've not found anything worth selling for.

Cheers!
