would you still be okay with Washington DC setting standards? Would you be okay with a requirement to teach Creationism? Would you be okay with halting the teaching of sex ed?

Would you?

The Republican mind is an amazing place

Even when the dangers are clear, the appropriate response is less than obvious

I still think I'd rather have the Feds setting the standards.

However, I see a silver lining in letting the states do what they want - over a couple of decades, major corporations would learn they don't want to hire an employee schooled in Mississippi or Alabama, and wouldn't hire them. Students from there would only be able to attend college in regressive states. Our regressive states would be like little Albania's in America. Proving my point.
