I had that same thought in the 60s, then in the 70s but I guess there are parts of our Country that think like many did when I was a kid in the 30s. I swore that I would never become a Democrat [and I haven't; though there seem to be more bigots among Republicans these days than Democrats] when I learned that it was with the help of the local Democrat Party Leaders in the Northwest that many of my grade school class mates were sent off the concentration Camps. Yet, all of the young men served in the armed services and better citizens than most. One of my classmates became the chief medical officer at Annapolis. First, let me say that I am pleased that you have made an effort to present your views logically, rather than resorting to the baseless attacks and name-calling that most individuals on the left resort to.

Here is where those with your position differ from people with my position. One primary point that is worth noting is that those on our side do not hate Black people or Brown people. That is a reckless misnomer often made by those on the left. Instead, what is true is that we naturally prefer to live among our own kind. It feels natural to live among those who are the most like ourselves, share our views, and believe the things that we believe. We're alike for a reason. We prefer our own kind not because we hate other races or because we fear them or fear the cultural differences, but simply because we really enjoy being around our own kind. I'm not ashamed to say that I really enjoy being around conservative White people who share my experiences, my views, and my genome. Our similarities are more than skin deep. We also know for a fact that Blacks prefer to be around other Blacks and their cultures, and Browns prefer to be around other Browns and their cultures.

What I was trying say is simply that the greater the number of different kinds of people we come to feel comfortable with, the better off we will all be. I have learned to feel very fortunate that my father contracted cateracts only a few years after being married and my parents took every penny they had a bought property in the country so that my father would be motivated not to try to read. The Doctors were right as he never went totally blind. I will never forget being there when he had the cateracts removed when he was 67. My mother supported us as substitute teacher; though she had been responsible for music in all Seattle schools until her marriage and maried women could only be subsititutes. But most of the people living in the area in which we lived were renters and few had jobs during the 30s. I became Mr. Fix it as I seemed to be able to fix nearly anything, more than I can today, even when I was only10. My hero was a man who had lost his wife but lived in a shack a couple of miles from us and needed his water pump to keep his garden growing and I became his pump man. One day I had just finished getting his pump working and was starting home when I saw three men coming his way. One had a big knife and was a man I didn't like. I hid behink a tree and stepped from behind it when I thought they were going to hurt him. I was told to go home and we all left. I learned later that they came to convince him that he should do as was the norm on the WPA and do nothing all day to assure that the job would last. Louie didn't believe in taking money without earning it. He was always there to help when neighbors got together to bring in the hay of something else. The man I didn't like was just the opposite and that is why i didn't like him.
I learned many years later when I was literally thrown out of an Alaska Fishermans Union meeting in 49 for complaining that the Union's request was excessive. It was a Communist Front organization from what I knew and I was concerned that it was destroying the Industry. On my way home, I stopped at my bothers home and was told that my hero in my younger days was a member of the Communist Front Organization. The experience left a major imprint on my brain. And, my conclusion was and is that if you treat good people, who have very limited education, bad enough they will become involved with the wrong people. More importantly, I became convinced that Gov. should have an obligation to provide work for anyone interested and only give to those who are unable to do anything. I recognize that the former is not easy to implement but we taught masses how now to work with the WPS, though it was well internsioned.
Today we have masses of people on Wall Street and in Corporate America who really don't work. Look at HFT, which is making billianares today. It increases to cost of investment and the potential profit from it and therefore is taking money from our economy. If you look objectively at the mortgage crisis you will find it was not Freddie and Fannie, though they contibuted and those responsible should be in jail, it was the large banks understanding how they could create CDO and sell them to the unsuspecting. As on Mortgage Dept. VP told me, they would take anything even if the mortgage was for 110 % of the appraised value and only 10 % was put down. And, none involved are in jail.]]
With that said, I would much rather be friends and neighbors with conservative non-Whites like Clarence Thomas, Nikki Halley, Bobby Jindal, or Thomas Sowell than my fellow Whites such as Joe Biden, Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, or Janet Napalitano. Unfortunately, there are relatively few conservative non-Whites like those in the former group that I mentioned who share my conservative views.

When I came East to work at Bell Labs after the War, I was confronted with a world that was very different from the world in which I grew up in the NW. Each ethic group had it own enclave. I thought it had diminished and then I became a representative of Bell Labs in International Data Communications Standards Organizations. I had a lot of success because I showed respect for everyone. I witnessed many of our own lose because they looked down their nose at everyone. I learned that we are not respected in any country around the world but, individually we could be respected if we showed respect for others. I could give you a long list of key technologies or international standards that would not exist today if those who considered themselves above the rest had had their way. I respectfully disagree with you. When one looks at the achievements from Africa and Central America as compared to Europeans and their descendants in North America, Australia, New Zealand, and selected areas in Latin America, the differences are stark. What has Africa and Central America contributed to the world? Beyond that, consider the turmoil, disease, and disorder that exists in those places. When Africans and Mestizos come to the United States and Europe, they typically bring the same turmoil and disorder and they created in their own countries. That is why they are unwelcomed and considered undesirables in my culture. Of course, for those who fully adapt and assimilate, the associated problems are less pronounced.

Some facts might motivate you to think a little. Our fertility rate is now well below 2, and remove the Latino contribution and it is even lower. The fertility rate in the Christian dominated world is less than 1.8. The fertility rate in Iran was 7 put to a few years ago and is now 4. You can imagine what it is in the rest of world. Think what the population distributions will be 100 years from now. And many of the high fertility rate countries believe that causing us the loss of life will assure them eternal life in heaven. Yet, I can assure you that the vast majority have the same basic interests and motivations as we (at least, most of us) do. Fertility rates are only important as an engine for the growth of economies and governments. Fewer people who live conservative, responsible lifestyles and take good care of themselves and their families is a far better prospect than third-world humans procreating like wild jackal and producing large litters of offspring who are not cared for properly, which is the case in Africa, Central America, and the remainder of the third-world. The solution to this is aggressive immigration reform that keeps the undesirables out of North America and Europe. Strong arguments have been made for the selective application of eugenics as well, but that's another discussion.
We have to learn to get along with others and growing up in a multicultural society should help. If we don’t some of the worst projection for our future may come true. I strongly disagree, Larry. Numerous world leaders have correctly asserted that multiculturalism is an abject failure. They are quite correct. The "worst projection of our future" has already materialized and it will become much worse. My wife and I saw this coming moons ago and refrained from having a family, even though we like children and want to. We did not want to sentence them to the hell that our nation and our people are now living. We live in a very bad world now, due to rising tide of third-world miscreants and undesirables, and, frankly, the willingness of millions of well-intentioned people like you to encourage and even celebrate their advancement into our territory and the dispossession of Whites of European ancestry. It is simply unfathomable to me how you can believe the things that you believe, Larry, but I believe you are sincere and well-intentioned. I strongly and respectfully encourage you to consider the significant social, cultural, and fiscal damages caused by the mass migration of the third-world into civilization. It should be a cause of great alarm to and a call to action for voters who are barely in the majority now.
