I think that both Apple and Nokia are at a watershed. Apple, under Cook, is moving to consolidate two operating systems under one, dummied down iOS. I think that is unwise, because all the pros with whom I talk tell me it is unwise, and they will be possibly forced to abandon Apple, if that is indeed the case. As much as they HATE Microsoft, they say this. I say it as well, as much as it pains me. Unlike Apple's Cook - who has gazillions to play with - Nokia's Elop has no such luxury. He is totally under the gun. You can smell the adrenalin. He might pull it off.
