So, I'm looking for change I can believe in... not change for change sake...
The underlying problem here is - and surprisingly enough on this one issue Sylvester80 and I agree - the W8 phone interface is butt ugly.

Also, it lacks some of the easy, breezy Android and iOS conventions.

So, it is going to be an uphill stubble for Softie to force their ugly ass interface into our faces.

Many of us shall rebel against it. Such as myself: that is why I spent the big bucks on the Nokia 808 PureView: decent OS and stellar camera.

Not so with W8, for me, and many others.

Should be noted and taken into account, when making NOK calculations. Methinks.

>>>I don't think NOK will turn around...

Still the pessimist I see... actually making the WP8 successful (and successful to me is 20% of the market) is as easy as making the WP8 first experience more presentable to the user who walks in to a phone store looking for a smartphone. Full color icons/tile with text and a gorgeous background full color image, default from the factory, will go a long way in that. But if Microsoft insists in this monochromatic lifeless start screen, same as it was the past 2 years, I think the result will also be the same. I hope I'm wrong but that's the way I see it.

This changes everything about the verdict. There is now a great possibility the judge will throw the verdict out....
