Scientists are the last people to unfairly politicize things. You feel you can just say stuff and that makes it real. It doesn't.

Science isn't politicized; the way society perceives and reacts to science is. The disagreement about global warming, for instance is of the political science nature, not of the climate sciences. Same with smoking and cancer. Some of the same people were even involved in both campaigns...Seitz and Singer. = Our story today is about a rocket scientist who has consistently argued against landmark scientific studies on the dangers of tobacco and second hand smoke, acid rain, DDT, CFCs and, in the last 20 years, global warming.
