One of the IMF requirements is opening of foreign investor to Korea. That also includes opening of the stock market to the world. I don't know how that will affect the ADRs. Will it be equalized?

SKM Thread - Can someone please explain the determinants of the nearly 100% premium of SKM ADRs? I realize that this is partly due to supply and demand, but I am curious what events could conspire to either shrink or expand this premium. For example, is the opening of the Korean market to direct investment likely to dilute the value of SKM ADRs? If so, would the stock simply lose 50% of its value?

Sorry for the naive questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
