Many old people with medicare need hip replacements, knee replacements at about $25,000 a pop. Medicare allows that and it keeps them from being crippled the rest of their life.How does the church meet that need? They wouldn't cost $25,000 if the liberal doctors and nurses would just forego their fees. But I see what you mean, the Catholic Church doesn't take care of every possible need of every single person so they aren't doing admirable work that has value. Oh, by the way, are you going to suggest that the government meets the medical needs of every person right now? Are you suggesting that old people are going to be better off with more government involvement in healthcare a la Obama care? How are old people going to be better off under obamacare when it defunds Medicare to the tune of $700B????
