There is a self correcting mechanism. Once the illegals figure out there is no more blood to suck they will move onto Canada and suck them dry next. Watch and see.

Thank you for being honest about you views. Having read all of your response, I couldn't agree more that we STRONGLY DISAGREE. So much so that I won't waist your time or mine with much of a response. I spent 20 years of my life representing Bell Laboratories data Communications people in international standards bodies around the world and I never encountered anyone that I didn’t believe that I could find something in common with and to find a find a basis for rational negotiation. Though, we are not dealing with the same issues, you are a first. You have a vote and therefore have some responsibility for the decisions of your Government. YOU are therefore responsible to some degree for your Government enticing these unfortunates here to provide cheap labor. Damn near every employer is a Republican. To ignore this and to simply deport as many as you can, regardless of their contribution to our economy or why they are here, is CRIMINAL and, in my view, and inhuman. And you probably call yourself a Christian. Living with illegals is not my thing but I prefer it to living in a society lacking the minimum human qualities. [I'm one of these nuts that believes we should require the use of the English langauge.] Yes, illegals are responsible for a lot of crime but that doesen't justify treating all like ciminals and ignoring the criminal acts of those that brought them here. I swore many years ago, when I learned that the leader of the Democrats in the While River Valley South of Seattle helped convince our politicians to send half of my grade school class to concentration camps that I would never register as a Democrat; though I voted for Truman because, if he hadn't dropped the bomb, there is a very slim chance I would be here today. I was on a escort carrier and 7 out 8 were expected to be lost if we had to invade. I might add that all of the men in my class served in one of the armed services during the war. I was confronted with a challenge to my oath in 57 when I helped put the first product I had a major responsibility for the design of into production in Greensboro, NC. It was my first encounter with separate but equal and I almost asked for a transfer. I got to know many of the Engineers and their view that Blacks were more animal than human. The lead engineer’s wife had a Black Maid who she treated like the nicest person you could have but she couldn’t sit at the table with us. They were all Democrats. Then separate but equal was made illegal and within a few years, they were all Republicans. I knew that their views hadn’t changed and it was very disturbing to have them talk as though we were members of the same political club. My discomfort with being a registered Republican has been increasing ever since and I think you have driven me over the top. By next Monday I will no longer be a registered Republican. I suspect that Goldwater would throw up if he were called a Conservative today. I’m sure you will be pleased to know that I won’t post anything more on this thread.
