I day trade the near term model, but I rely much more on the model itself, which is still short... the near term indicator is very sensitive and can change many times a day... if I had to follow one indicator, I would most definitely follow the main model since that one is more reliable longer term and tells you the main direction of the trend itself, the near term indicator only tells you that the market "may be" turning...

In fact, I sold out my long SP and went short right after the opening... I tend to follow the main model itself myself most of the time for the real direction of the market...

Also realize, my main model has been short for more than a week, but the near term indicator has flipped up and down nearly every day, so I really only follow the main model for legitimated market direction, the near term is again pointing lower this morning...
