Yeah. he had to because he was the one who visited Iraq with McCain and was prompting McCain in his ears on the war issues. So they thought it is better to bring him on stage instead of all that backstage prompting. But with Crist!! I don't know. Maybe he has something to say whereas in the case of Lieberman, he had to say something.

Didn't Lieberman once speak at the Rep convention?

Yup. Do you think Crist and Lieberman have about the same character? Personally, I can't stand Lieberman.
