Let me try it another way. Why do only 6% of scientist's call themselves Republican?

Because a real scientist would always say that he is independent.

The 55% who claim to be democrats and the 52% who claim to be liberal are likely being paid by the government in some way. Either as teachers, professional students or as an employee of some other government agency. And they know from where their bread is buttered. So they vote in their own self interest.

Because they only asked "scientists" who belong to a liberal scientific group.

Consider how many scientists work for drug, aerospace, oil, chemical, etc companies. Think they're all liberal Democrats?

Yes, but you haven't, even when it's right under your nose.

Illiterate, innumerate and lazy. You hit the trifecta today, koan.
