I lived in Port Arthur as a kid. But I don't think that makes any difference. Yes, he wants to be there to "show the flag." But there isn't anything he would do that he can't do by phone. Still, he wants to be in New Orleans if they get hit. It's all about perception, and you know as well as I do, how the Dems would spin it if there was a bad hit on LA and Jindal was in Tampa, even if he was able to handle everything from there on the phone. Not worth the political cost.
