thread, more price drops..the p200mmx pc that was 1199 to start went to 999 and now it's $899.
This pc has
p200mmx
3.2gig
16x cd rom
internet ready with 56k modem
Plus the usuall 1000 dolars worth of software.
Some stores offer no payment and no interest purchases
others offer 4.9% interest
don't know warrnaty but these have been 3 yrs.
it's the p233 and up with one yr warranty and the 799 pc with 1 yr

This is why Micheal dell was heehawing around when they asked him about low cost pcs<ggggggg>

this is the reason I say that Dell has to go low cost too.
the international market will start to rip. but, they are ripping low cost and especially on their home pcs.
JApan and China are finally accepting cpq since they went low cost.
I think Europe will buy a 799 pc at home too.
It will eventualy hurt dell.
Dell also has a chance to change..I don't see erosion til observations that could happen in feb 98 about 2 q or 3q of next yr.
