I AGREE TOTALLY THAT EVERYONE ON THIS THREAD SHOULD
WRITE A LETTER TO BARRONS EXPRESSING ABSOLUTE OUTRAGE.
HAS ANYONE NOTICED THAT AT LEAST ONE ARTICLE PER ISSUE
SEEMS TO HAVE A HIDDEN AGENDA?

Michael: Throw me in for good measure if you want. This one really irritated me too. Is this piece featured prominently in the issue?

RE: Writing Borron's.
You can count on me to send an email and a letter. (i've written the The Wall Street Urinal before concerning their negitive slant to every Iomega article). I'm even going to threaten to cancle my father's subcription.

One would need to have a pretty good imagination to conceive that a product the might start to ship in six months is a threat to the Industry Standard Zip&#153, with over 10 millions sold (and selling about 1 million more per month).

Look at this keen observation Savits made: "None of the gazillions of digital cameras we saw at Comdex made use of the new Clik! drives..."

Uh, since the clik!&#153 drives were being shown for the first time, why would they be expected to be in existing cameras?

Also, the first units are external drives that are used with existing digital cameras.

"gazillions of digital cameras"! Yeah, seems like a huge market, KE sure is smart to get all the big players to endorse clik!&#153. Remember what Iomega General Sales Manager Tony Lagalante said about those enorsements: "Those companies didn't write those letters to waste their time. They're all currently designing products using clik!&#153. It's just that these companies, as a rule, do not pre-announce products."

Iomega rules!

Michael, What part of the Barrons' article do you find malicious? It seems somewhat slanted on the whole but useful, perhaps unpleasant, information none the less.

The good news in the article is that it would be the first or second quarter before it came to market. To me that means there is significant uncertainty is some area of their production process or their plans. Let's hope they take their time solving their problems.
