I think so.

The new pumps at the outfall canals had some problems noted after installation about a year or so ago. I think the issues had to do with the engineering and installation of any new piece of large and complex equipment, nothing of any significance. I tracked the matter, but it disappeared from the local media. If the problems were not fixed, it is likely that the media would have mentioned them.

My optimism may have been a bit unwarranted: the pumps on the outfall canals seem to have continuing problems.
