Baja Mining completes $90-million (U.S.) financing 2012-08-28 08:50 ET - News Release Shares issued 340,213,025 BAJ Close 2012-08-27 C$ 0.065 Mr. Tom Ogryzlo reports BAJA MINING ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF STAGE I FINANCING The Korean consortium has contributed $90-million (U.S.) to Baja Mining Corp.'s subsidiary Minera y Metalurgica del Boleo SA de CV (MMB), completing stage I of the financing announced by Baja on July 26, 2012. The Korean consortium now owns a majority interest (51 per cent) in MMB. However, the formalities required to transfer the shares and transfer control have not yet been completed. We seek Safe Harbor.
