Well .. people aren't put in prison just for being poor.

Overall, our government needs to reduce spending about 50% .. maybe more.

That leaves money in the hands of the people.

The idea that we can take money from the people and then give some of it back, has tons of holes in it. Starting with paying the people that gather and then redistribute. Simple program overhead. The process makes things worse for those in need.

NO ONE PAYS THE US TO BE THE POLICE OF THE WORLD.

So the people .. the ones having a hard time paying their own way .. are now paying for the entire rest of the world.

It should be obvious that can't last forever.

The situation needs to be untangled. The longer we try to order the rest of the world around, the harder it will be to bring the troupes home. And stop the related spending.
