In the story “GOP fears ghost of Hurricane Katrina at RNC 2012,” Politico's Alexander Burns and Maggie Haberman just keep skipping over the Democratic mayor of New Orleans and the Democratic governor of Louisiana as they predict the most damaging political scenario they can hope for, er, imagine as the storm spared the GOP convention site in Tampa: [P]arty officials and convention planners are increasingly anxious about a different and possibly more damaging scenario: a split-screen broadcast of Republicans partying in Tampa alongside images of serious storm damage in states such as Louisiana and Mississippi. .................................................................................................................... The left is going to milk Katrina and Issac for all they can. I firmly believe they are hoping for as much destruction and loss of life as possible from Issac. 1 posted on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 11:56:37 AM by chessplayer To: TribalPrincess2U It would be more appropriate to show the hurricane and Zippy playing golf on split screens. The RNC have nothing to do with a hurricane. Desperate times for the left. 3 posted on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 12:02:48 PM by TribalPrincess2U To: chessplayer The left is going to milk Katrina and Issac for all they can. This isn't going to amount to anything but they will try to make it into a Shepherd Smith moment (won't anyone please help those people). 4 posted on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 12:08:22 PM by evad (It's a tax, it's a tax, it's a tax, It's a tax, it's a tax, it's a tax) [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 1 | View Replies | Report Abuse ] To: chessplayer Nothing lower than the rat media rooting for death and destruction to further their political aims. 5 posted on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 12:14:34 PM by JPG To: TribalPrincess2U Here in upstate New York (and the Northeast) many small towns were heavily damaged by Hurricane Irene and those affected certainly didn’t get any better assistance from the Federal Government than did NOLA. The people themselves are still righting themselves with the assistance of the State Government. The difference between Upstate New York and NOLA is that they did not have stupid mayors, like NAGIN and state governors, like BLANCO, as their leaders and they are used to being self sufficient, not looking for welfare daily handouts from the governments. 6 posted on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 12:23:43 PM by BilLies (FOX NEWS, Ass.Press ABCBSNBCNN, NYTimes, WaPOSt , etc., hates your Traditional American guts!) Remember CNN reporter in a row boat in a five inches of water and two guy’s walk past her?,that was funny. 7 posted on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 12:28:45 PM by Vaduz [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 2 | View Replies | Report Abuse ] To: chessplayer I’m still pizzed that Bush allowed himself to be blamed for the slow response for Katrina when it was clearly the fault of an incompetent RAT mayor and governor. Note how this issue is STILL being used against Repubs and will be far in the future. Same with the economic collapse. Sickening how most Repub politicians are completely unprepared to address this when it is brought up. 8 posted on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 1:11:38 PM by Brooklyn Attitude [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 1 | View Replies | Report Abuse ] To: chessplayer If Issac mirrors Katrina then this will be in Obama’s lap and not under the control of Bush or Republicans. When is this pri*k ever going to start taking any responsibility for things happening during his term? 9 posted on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 1:46:16 PM by History Repeats
