I wasn't there and you never know what the true facts are, but there is nothing, whatsoever, in that story that even remotely suggests racism -- other than the fact that David Schuster felt a compelling need to tell the race of the CNN employee when race ostensibly had no role in the incident. This is the kind of racism you so frequently exhibit, and what was exhibited by the OJ Simpson team against Mark Fuhrman.

I would tend to think the gross behavior had more to do with the person's opinion of the left wing media, in the absence of any evidence to the contrary.

If there are more facts, my view could change, but based on what you posted there was no racism involved other than Schuster's in reporting it as he did.

None of it approaches the racism of MSNBC last night in cutting out every single word of every single minority's speeches.

**Shock** ABC News: Romneys ‘Happy to Have a Party When Black People Drown’

29 Aug 2012, 8:00 AM PDT 25 post a comment

Here's a look at the black, bitter, bitter, ugly and biased souls of our corrupt media during ABC News' live-feed coverage yesterday. The moment in question occurs in the first ten seconds. Listen closely: -

-

This is who the media is. This is what Romney and all Republicans are up against. In what atmosphere does an ABC employee (per Newsbusters) feel comfortable firing off this kind of vicious joke?

Well, the answer is easy: In an atmosphere where you're surrounded in a bubble by elite, ignorant, hate-mongering, ideologically-bigoted leftists just like yourself.

More from Newsbusters:

The anti-Romney joke was made while the person, presumably an ABC News producer, was on an active microphone, apparently unaware that his/her quips against the former Massachusetts governor were being recorded and broadcast live.

Unmentioned by the ABC News jokester is the fact that the Republican National Committee canceled the entirety of Monday's program or that President Obama did not cancel any of his regularly scheduled campaign fund-raising parties that night.

The media cannot be reasoned with nor can a peace be brokered.

We must defeat these people because that's what they intend to do to us. When you believe our nominee is happy to party while black people drown, you can only believe that we possess no humanity. You can't reason with people who hate you. You just can't.

UPDATED | In ABC Webcast, Yahoo! News's Chalian Says Romney's ‘Happy to Have a Party When Black People Drown’

Updated with correction [11:43 a.m. EDT]: Yahoo! Washington bureau chief David Chalian made the offensive remark, ABC News's Julie Townsend told NewsBusters in a phone conversation a few minutes ago.

During live coverage of the Republican National Convention here in Tampa, [original wording: an ABC News employee] Yahoo! News Washington bureau chief David Chalian provided the perfect example of the pervasive anti-Republican bias Mitt Romney faces in his bid to unseat President Barack Obama.

In video broadcast Monday night by ABC over the Internet, the person Chalian can be heard claiming that GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and his wife Ann are unconcerned about the fate of residents of the New Orleans area who are currently being hit by Hurricane Isaac.

“They aren’t concerned at all,” the person says on tape. “They are happy to have a party when black people drown.”

That line elicits laughter from several employees listening in on the joke.

From the audio, it appears the person Chalian was talking to an unknown individual named “John” who presumably was making additional jokes at the expense of Ann Romney although such jokes cannot be heard on the clip.

Is al-Bamah happy to party while black people drown. PS, as far as I know, no one has drowned so far.
