>> “We set goals and we meet them. That's what we do as Americans.”

Goals? Like closing GITMO? Like getting control of the situation in Afg.? Like keeping unemployment under 8%? Or in getting growth above 4%? Or in cutting the federal deficit in half (while doubling it or more four years in a row)? Or getting 1,000,000 electric vehicles on the road?

Which goals are you talking about?

>> “By a stroke of a pen, apparently he thinks that he can kick 7 million young people off their parents' [health care] plan;

Where they can buy their own insurance at the same cost? That's what my kids did. Why can't everyone else's?

>> he can make prescription drugs higher [priced] for seniors;

After you people have criticized Bush so horribly for pushing Part D, now this bastard wants to use their expansion of it as a campaign issue (and an expansion that took it from being the most successful government health plan in US history in that it came in under budget EVERY SINGLE YEAR, to one that will dump massive new costs we can't afford?)

>> suddenly folks with pre-existing conditions are out of luck,” the president said.

Nobody has talked about doing this. No one. The entire concept of repealing Obamacare has involved replacing it with a fiscally competent program.

College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life.

President Obama is the kind of politician who puts promises on the record, and then calls that the record. But we are four years into this presidency. The issue is not the economy as Barack Obama inherited it, not the economy as he envisions it, but this economy as we are living it.

I have never seen opponents so silent about their record, and so desperate to keep their power.

With all their attack ads, the president is just throwing away money — and he's pretty experienced at that.

After four years of government trying to divide up the wealth, we will get America creating wealth again.
