Big political doners make much bigger profit margins in building overseas plus double dip yet again after first destroying communities? Much more opportunity for waste and fraud..much less accountability. Ironic the big fall happened in the few critical years post 9/11 when we were all patriotic believing in our government. Our military industrial complex broad tent went from $270B a year to over a trillion today not even accounting the added costs of caring for hundreds of thousands of vets the rest of their lives. The true era of big government and earmarks that set the standard for today. Hey 'deficits don't matter' Dick Cheney said it best..
