Kim,

<< ipm has .04ish, and no recovery. anything else is speculation, imo. >>

Unfortunately for you and me and many others, the market didn't like the "speculation" aspect.
I would be very happy to believe that Black Rock dirt contains upwards of 1 opt of PMs. At present, however, we have only the word of the company for anything more than the ".04ish" gold and "measurable amounts" of PGEs.
Sadly, as I review the press releases of the past year and more, the company's word doesn't seem to be worth all that much. I'm still waiting to hear the results of the recovery testing that was turned over to BD -- when was it, last May?

Regards,
O. H.

Kim,

<<<<Of course, according to Bateman the process they used was uneconomic and yielded low recovery.>> yep, they didn't even come out with an uneconomic *high recovery, which would have at least given some hope.>>

Would you please point me to where I missed this statement by Bateman ?

Chuck

The Golden Fleece: Why the Stock Market Costs you Money by Walter Stewart
ISBN-0-7710-8303-3

McClelland & Stewart Inc.
The Canadian Publishers
481 University Ave.
Toronto On.,
M5G-2E9

After you read this you will never buy equity again.

Freegold, The Story of Canadian Mining, by Arnold Hoffmann, ISBN 0-7606862-5, E&MJ Mining Information Services, McGraw Hill Publications Co., 1221 Ave. of the Americas, New York, N.Y., 10020 USA. Best overview of prospecting and the stock market I have read. In short the whole game as it was and should be played.

You might buy the odd mining stock after reading this, with considerably more knowledge than the average investor has about mining markets. I consider "Freegold" to be a must read. It is the single most influential book in my investing life. I will guarantee that few people would invest in stocks like IPM after reading this book.
