All this checking out to make sure my computer is Y2K compliant is too complicated for me. Too many variables to look at.

Now I hear current versions of Microsoft Word, Excel and Access all have date ambiguities.

I'm just going to buy a new computer & update software ... when and if I can get a guarantee that it's Y2K compliant.

BUT ... what about all of those other people and businesses and non-profits ... who cannot afford full upgrade.

What are they gonna do?
