Jim or Anyone? I'd like to do some research on a hunch that CPQ's EPS growth rate is accelerating and Dell's is decelerating. Does anyone know of a good internet site where the historical earnings can be found in a table? Thanks in advance.

jim, how did he point out a single thing,
since he hadn't worked at cpq and then saw the numbers released by research firms. You need to see both to evaluate.
for an engr , you are duped so easy by a post with no facts what so ever.
You are absolutley the most dupable person I think i've ever meet...
<ggggg>

actually the only throwaway I see here is "you threw-away-brain"<gg>

hey, it's been awhile...put together another pc for us...
I want a power supply this time.<gggggggg>

Jim, <<What do you think about the cannibalization posting by Kai Uwe?
Does CPQ have a margin problem in the desktop area?>>I haven't seen this post. If you could give me the URL I'd be able to look it over.

As to gross margins, I pointed out some time ago that gross margins cannot be compared without considering turnover rates. Low gross margins coupled with high turnover can generate as much or more profit than high gross margin with low turnover. What ultimately counts is gross profit, not gross profit margin.

Regards,

Paul

Jim,

Must disagree with the black box statement you made. It looks cool.
Packard Bell has killed themselves with selling a very bad low cost product a few years ago. I bought one, wouldn't recommend it as a freebe even. It would cost you more to fix it in the long run.
