I know. The only candidate who had a BALANCED budget plan was Ron Paul, but the American people have been so seduced by government largess in the last 4 years, that those goals are almost impossible to achieve now.

So the solutions we get from both parties are to "bend the curve downwards". It's appalling. However, Ryan's plan bends it faster than Obama's. So Ryan gets my vote.
