I think a lot of bond buyers got really freaked by the recent hit to bond prices a couple weeks ago and are going out of their way to protect capital.

The market was going to price in QE no matter what Bernanke did or did not say, and part of that was a rally in bonds. Yields are still higher on the month and so is the DOW.

This sets the stage for nice follow through next week if Draghi delivers what the market wants to hear - bond buying for Spain and Italy.
