Good stuff, Thanks!

Just to leave for the weekend not overly depressed about my now significantly underwater bonds:

From ATPG presentation dated APRIL 2012
•Substantial asset value
-Proved and probable reserves of 194.4 MMBoe (66% oil) with SEC PV-10 of $7.3 billion at 12/31/11
-Infrastructure investment of over $1.0 billion

Good word to learn: "By-gones" - Term used by lawyer Richard Fish (Greg Germann) and colleagues at Cage/Fish & Associates on the legal dramedy ALLY MCBEAL/FOX/1997-2002. Roughly translated the word means "water under the bridge," as in "Killed her husband, slipped her mind-it happens! By-gones!.

Have a great weekend!

Then tell me something I don’t know, and I’ll judge you
thanks for sharing your thoughts. I appreciate the information and I am very glad that we move away from the name calling posts back to sharing information and thoughts. You won't hear too much from me on ATPG unfortunately, I am a novice in BK and I am just trying to learn the situation and get my hand around the important factors. My strength is handicapping outcome and betting my "investment" accordingly, and so far there are too many potential outcome based on everything that I read. My sense is that we really don't know enough about the situation yet. I think watching is the best investment thesis for ATPG now. At a minimum I would like to see company's reorg plan first before buying anything (e.g. what if management propose selling at least some of the GOM asset and invest the money in Israel? It is probably a foo foo idea but ....)
