There's truth to that. I've been clear that with the Ryan plan, comes things I don't like, including not holding the 1% accountable for a larger share of the burden. However, that's a tree. The forest is that the Ryan plan bends the deficit curve down farther and faster than the Obama plan.

Another example. I didn't like that Obama tried to select the winners and losers in renewal energy by using crony-capitalism to favor a few solar firms and to favor corn ethanol. I hated that in fact. However, those are trees. The forest was that Obama was driving a pretty comprehensive push for renewable energy as a whole and he made great progress, as evidenced by the new MPG standards for automobile fleets.

Start looking at the forest and stop getting so caught up in the trees. The trees will give you analysis paralysis. Or worse, lead you to the wrong conclusions.
