The media, naturally, is furious. They don’t like to see Their Precious One mocked and they also understand the power of mockery -- ..... This is why the media has already written 25 stories (5 from Politico) mocking Eastwood.

Eastwood's movies were enormously popular for a long time, but the critics and other snobs always managed to look down at him. Then, after the "Unforgiven", he was eventually accepted and acknowledged as one of the greats of the movie business (and art). Since that time he remained a giant. By now, he is not afraid of the media. Let them fight him -- they'll make his day.

Oh my.............the right is (finally) getting all riled up at the real injustice our country has suffered. I am delighted and relieved. Mia Love was on Hannity and was asked several times to react to the horrible things the lwm is writing and saying about her. She only wanted to talk about the issue, but after Hannity's third attempt, she said " bring it on, but I'm going to focus on the issues." She exemplifies the tone and grace and seriousness of the people who spoke at the convention the last three days.

Yea John Nolte!!!
It was glorious! And everyone I've talked to who was in the hall absolutely loved it.

Eastwood hit Obama in every sweet spot we've been waiting for him to get hit on: The incompetence; the lies; the empty, pretentious rhetoric; the inexperience; and that roaring blowhard of a moron Obama chose to be a heartbeat away.

Oh, and the empty chair. Other than an empty suit, there is no sharper metaphor.

I call that free publicity. Just think, 10 years ago it would have been hard to find the video of Clint's actual performance if you had just heard about it from Politico. But now, it's easy as pie. Go to Youtube and type in "Clint Eastwood". Several versions are there, with over 2 million views.
