But now we know, the just outspent so much that they created the maturity event.>> i was surprised by the timing as well. i wonder if the proverbial straw was the notice they needed to come up with bonding for the P&A? they were cruising along with their head just barely above water, just about to get across the finish line, and them BAMMMM they get wind of the bonding issue. so they hire Jeffries to put something together, have a little meeting with the officials to see if they can get this delayed, and basically had a deadline to get things lined up by, because the formal written notice was going to be sent on such-and-such a date? i have no idea if this is what happened, but when i look at the timeline, it does not seem inconsistent with the facts as i know them.
