John/Fred/JFieb, et al: what do you make of Tohisba dropping that DVD computer ? The pressor is a few days dated but when I read it Wednesday my enthusiam for DVD on PCs diminished. I'd thought DVD PC version would be a better product than stand alone units. If you get a PC DVD it doubles (?) as a CR-ROM too, right ?

BTW: Barrons today had a nice aritcle regarding internet cable modems and they discussed Road Runner. I had seen that product discussed here on the CUBE thread. Whats CUBE's relationship, if any, to Time Warner and Road Runner ? Also, whats CUBE's product position, if any, regarding internet cable modems ?

Dear John: Thanks for the info in your post on Divicom's percentage of the communications divisions sales. I have been trying to get this number for the past 2 years. It is real dissappointing that Cube management isn't more forthright with its shareholders. I can appreciate their concern for competition in the various divisions, but there is so much competition everywhere, what does it matter if they share this info publicly.

Lucky for Cube shareholders that these emerging markets are going to be so big there will be room for smaller players like Cube.
