Hi Investor-ex!,

Sure, allow me to elaborate. The Asian problem is not going to affect U.S. markets as much as one might expect. U.S. companies purchasing parts from Japan will be able to get them cheaper and increase their profit margin in the U.S. as a result. That can only be good for U.S. stocks.

Yes, things may seem overvalued, but only when you use yesterdays yardstick. Manufacturing and production is becoming more efficient with the application of modern technology in the factory and workplace. I'm not declaring this to be the final word, just a perception on my part. But, IMHO, perhaps what was 'overvalued' according to yesterday's standards are far from overvalued today.

Opinions are welcome. No experience necessary.
