My values wrt debt and deficits are simple: it is immoral to spend the money of future generations to make us feel better today.

Uh.............only you and the rest of the upper classes are feeling better. Most Americans are not............you just don't get it. You think like an R so you can't empathize beyond your close circle of friends.
