Watcher, you didn't take any wrong turn. Most of the info on the company does not reflect all of the recent acquisitions. These companies were purchased with cash as well as with shares. The preferred and the common do not pay any dividends to my knowledge.

The preferred's value is based on the common's as of March 99. Holders of the preferred will be able to trade for almost 1 1/2 shares of
the common for every preferred that they own.

Luis, your conversation with your friend is most interesting:
<A friend and I were discussing this last night. He's very sharp and spotted right away that the preferred is too cheap and presents a possible shorting situation as a cover while their prices remain so close.>

Could you please explain this to me. If the preferred is too cheap, why would this present a possible shorting situation? I have been
curious about the shorting on the preferreds.
