I'd try another DNS server first, lot of free public ones you can try next time.

Next time you lose connection to SiliconInvestor, open a window and type "ping siliconinvestor.com" and see what you got. The DNS server will convert the name to an IP address. If DNS is hosed, it won't translate it to an address.

Try it now while it's working, and when it quits, try again.

And then again, you may be hijacked again...

I was having problems, and still do but now only for seconds or a minute or two. But when I used my VPN (Virtual Private Network) I can connect, so it must be a router somewhere on the web causing problems, others reported similar issues, but not as long as I had. It's not SI, somewhere on the net there is a problem.
