This is the key line which Romney does not understand: "....“the virtuous circle of growth”: well-paid workers generating consumer demand that in turn promotes business expansion and hiring." Or else why would he be pushing for tax cuts for the wealthy at the expense of the middle class. You give the wealthy the tax cuts, they would use the money to buy property or create jobs overseas. If you give those same cuts to the middle class, they will use it to create market demand here in the US.
