I disagree that bad numbers will hurt his chances. The people and he even agrees that the numbers are not going to be good during the dog days of summer. But the fact that people who had given up looking are rejoining the workforce (increase in unemployment number without increase in jobs lost) is a sign that people are optimistic. I hope you're right. I am not convinced that Obama is teflon but maybe we've gotten beyond the economic issues. We'll find out soon enough on Friday.
