Hi Carl,

Where to begin? How about with some data.

1. Some farmers like GMO, others do not. Your attempt to lump them into one group is not conducive to honest debate.

2. Debt based money driven and financial oligarch policy is the #1 driver of hunger and starvation on the planet. This take quite a bit of research - if you need some resources to help clarify this point, do ask.

3. Every indication is that the Big Agra and the Money Power behind the fraudulent monetary system are aligned - so ending world hunger isn't of real concern to them beyond the marketing benefits. If they cared about world hunger, they'd stop looting people with fraudulent debt-money.

4. Big Pharma and Big Agra are interwoven in many ways - including direct ownership of one another - and Big Pharma's corporate mandate is to maximize profits... which can only be done through a chronically ill populace. Does anyone see a chronically ill populace and exponentially growing Big Pharma profits anywhere?

5. There are no long term human health studies - Michael Taylor (Bush Sr.'s FDA) declared they weren't required because he was assuming the knowledge of God. He knows they are safe, no research required. How? He was the former attorney for Monsanto. And future Vice President. And current Food Czar (Obama).

Download the PDF and see why the American Academy of Environmental Medicine recommends a non-GMO diet.

"Several animal studies indicate serious health risks associated with genetically modified (GM) food," including infertility, immune problems, accelerated aging, faulty insulin regulation, and changes in major organs and the gastrointestinal system. The AAEM has asked physicians to advise all patients to avoid GM foods.

IMHO, a free people gets to know what is in their food so they can make an informed choice. Agree or disagree with my conclusions, I hope you support and the ability of an educated populace to make an informed choice. That means a Yes vote on CA Prop 37 - Label GMOs.

BTW, what is it in GMO food that is causing the family jewels to change color from a healthy pink to dark blue?

Or resulting in more than half of a mammal to be sterile by the third generation?

Here are some more health studies that indicate negative impacts on mammal health:

6. 10-15 times the RoundUP Ready is being used compared to 15 years ago - it has to go somewhere. It goes in the person who eats the food and it goes into the water supply and it goes into the land.

7. Please explain RoundUp Ready's mode of action and why that mode of action would alarm people who believe that food should have nutritive value.

8. Please cite an independent source's study that concludes that GMO crops increase yield. Please cite the best counter argument. Which side do you conclude is correct and why?

Why, specifically, is the Union of Concerned Scientists' 2009 report Failure to Yield wrong in its conclusion that GMO crops didn't definitively increase yield?

9. GMO seeds are patented... do you support mega corporate control of the nation's food supply? Do you support mega bank control of the nation's monetary system?

10. What happens when bugs don't have crops to eat as GMO is expanded to encompass more and more crops?

11. What happens if the suicide seed crops become dominant? Does "freedom" mean that farmers are free to buy only Monsanto seeds? BTW, you do know that commercial farmers in Iraq are forced, at the point of a gun, to use only GMO seeds, don't you? Do nice people use guns to force them to use their products?

12. What happens if something unexpected goes wrong with all these GM seeds out in the wild. For example, a monoculture takes over something wipes out those crops.

13. Jeffrey M. Smith articulating the health risks of GMO foods - the unvetted health risks due to Monsanto's former attorney and future vice president arbitrary decision not to test GMO foods for human safety.

14. 10 Reasons to Avoid GMOs

responsibletechnology.org

Why are these 10 reasons to avoid GMO wrong?

15, How, exactly, can anyone know GMOs are safe for human consumption when the corporations involved refuse to do the health studies and prefer to spend their $10s of millions fighting label initiatives?

I'm sure you've done your thorough research into the myriad of issues surrounding GMOs, Carl, so this should be a snap for you.

The main topic, IMHO, is Prop 37 - Labeling GMOs - I think Monsanto should be proud of their product, don't you? They should make that label nice and big - with all kinds of fancy colors!

That's all Prop37 - Label GMOs is about... allowing free people to know what is in their food so they have the freedom to choose what they want to eat.

“If you put a label on genetically engineered food you might as well put a skull and crossbones on it.”
Norman Braksick, president of Asgrow Seed Co., a subsidiary of Monsanto, quoted in the Kansas City Star, March 7, 1994
