I can't connect to piratebay at all.

Using these sites can cause you all sorts of problems. Not to mention they are illegal.

en.wikipedia.org

Pirate Bay is "one of the world's largest facilitators of illegal downloading" and "the most visible member of a burgeoning international anti-copyright or pro-piracy movement". [7]

mediacollege.com

normally it will be checked "obtain dns server address automatically"

here is a list of other servers to try
free ones for the public

here's some google ones

developers.google.com

others:
windows7bugs.wordpress.com

to see what DNS server you are currently using, at a command line do "ipconfig /all"
you'll see them listed in the results displayed

this probably ain't your issue, but it's all I can think of at the moment for slow of intermittent access.

Is your wireless screwing up again?

RE:can't connect to piratebay at all

So you are downloading torrents and then wondering why your computer has malware. Quit downloading malware and you won't have these problems. You don't know what you are going to get in a torrent file...
