I own some of the pref and have not received a notice. Might call my broker to check. I know that the pref prospectus has a provision that under certain conditions (i.e. if the common is bought out at less than $5 per share) the conversion rate of the pref increases from 4.5 shares common to 20 shares common. Perhaps recent events have somehow triggered that provision?

Given that the pfd is trading at $2 and the stock at $.18 it would appear that converting to and selling the common makes sense. Unless, of course, you think the pfd will get some kind of recovery (in excess of 2%).
