The initial boost in the stock was due to general hype and interest in airline entertainment systems. However, another company got a big airview contract and used a business model that practically ran them out of business. (A deal that TNCX turned down, if memory serves.) This soured investors on the idea of in-flight entertainment servers altogether, and hurt TNCX price since. Ever since, TNCX has been making improvements to the Cheetah server but, has had problems marketing -- or at least marketing quickly. That's why, I'm assuming, the Chair became VP of marketing this year.
