Judy, The fundamentals of these stocks are intact and earnings are widely expected to be excellent in January. I think you are underestimating the fundamentals here - the fundamentals should help minimize the extent of this correction. I'm long on several of these stocks, having just recently bought in. If you're short, good luck, but I suspect that's the wrong position to be in at this particular point in time.

Judy, of the drillers whose charts I've looked at, most are just slightly below their 100 dma. However, PKD is about halfway between the 100 and 200 dma, and two drillers, GLM and MDCO have actually reached their 200 dma, sitting right on it. I'm in MDCO, CDG and ESV as of Tuesday. I retrospect I should have been more cautious though. Intraday on Tuesday though, some of these drillers looked like their stock was going drilling on its own. -g- Enjoy that Holiday cheer, Dwight
