You were a Republican like what I am still, and then you became an independent, and you were going to write in Ron Paul on your ballot, and now you are back as a right winger. What gives?

Always blame the Rs. So Obama is never accountable for anything, right? The man's President. He won. Exactly when do we blame him for things?

I blame Obama when I think its appropriate but truth be told I don't find a lot to blame. You've got to understand Obama is the first president for whom I felt totally comfortable voting. He is the one president who most reflects my values so people shouldn't expect me to find a lot of fault with him.

As for Rs, yes, I do blame the present Rs......... a lot........and that's because they are culpable for a lot of our current problems. Clinton said tonite that the deficit quadrupled 4 times in the 12 Republican years before he took office........and then doubled twice again under GW Bush. Under Reagan, the program to make the rich richer found its roots in his presidency. Reagan also helped create a significant portion of the current antagonism between the US and Iran by boycotting Iran while arming Saddam. In that war between Iraq and Iran, Iran was forced to send 14 year old boys to defend the country. You didn't think Iranian hatred of the US was borne out of thin air, did you? In the meantime, the US didn't have a significant homeless population until Reagan closed the mental institutions and hospitals that forced the release of inmates to the streets. He needed the savings to help offset his tax cuts to the rich. It was Rs who developed the faux economic concept of trickle down and sold it over and over again to the American people, depending on their agreed to win elections. Its current Rs who have never seen a war that they didn't love. The Republican has become the party where racism bubbles quietly under the surface, where white exclusiveness is preferred, where compromise is seen as weakness and where gov't is the enemy.

Frankly, what's there to like?
