I might have been state champ in Kansas or Maine.
I was second fastest on my B team, to a kid a year behind me, and 4th in the league finals. California had a whole lot of very fast kids. The really fast ones all lived in SoCal. Lots of talent.

It's a sub 4 minute pace, but the bear jumped on my back around 500 yards, and it prolly would have taken me 40 seconds for the 4th 220. A fifth would not happen.

Great time for Wharf. I ran a 5:09 mile as a Freshman 46 years ago.

A decent time not great but I remember.

Paul Ryan finished a marathon a great accomplishment you would think he would know his time. He knew it but had to embellish and lie and make a false boast. When just finishing would have been good enough. He is a liar and insecure to have to stretch things so far.

<<If Wharf actually did do 660 in 1.27 as a high schooler that is very impressive---as he said sub 4 minute mile pace.>>

If he said he did it, he did it. He is built like a runner.

I always loved running, but it was my weakness. I was slow. I am strong and could catch and hit anything, but slow.
