It was hilarious to see the DNC backtrack so disingenuously on the God issue today. One day they were, in effect, denouncing God once and for all, completely unabashed as they simultaneously cemented their (literal) "stick a scissors into a newborn baby's head" ideology. And in the next moment, in clear view of the world, they were writing God back into their platform in a desperate attempt to undo something that, well, you just can't undo. Of course, the boos and jeers of the mob just completely nailed them. These boos and jeers ought to, somehow, make it into a Romney ad. This delicious incident reminds me of the old joke: A dumb guy runs into a bar with two handfuls of fresh, hot horse manure, and shows it to his friend. "Look what I almost stepped in!" he exclaims breathlessly. Today was the DNC's "Look what I almost stepped in!" moment.
